(Wallace-Saunders) failed to comply with the district court's
order to compel the production of documents. The district court,
therefore, struck Wallace-Saunders' pleadings and held
[250 Kan. 56]
Wallace-Saunders' judgment lien for attorney fees shall not
constitute a prior lien to any other judgment lien against
Louisburg Grain Company, Inc. (Louisburg). The Court of Appeals
affirmed the district court on August 2, 1991. Wallace,
Saunders, Austin, Brown & Enochs, Chtd. v. Louisburg Grain Co.,
16 Kan. App. 2d 30, 818 P.2d 805 (1991) (hereinafter cited as
Wallace-Saunders). We granted review.
